The Soundiron THEREMIN+ is an advanced virtual instrument based on the classic sound and feel of the legendary Theremin, but with a huge twist and a wealth of additional sound-designed pads, leads, ambiences and atmospheres. Our Theremin+ behaves as close to a Theremin as you can get on a keyboard, smoothly gliding between monophonic notes with variable speed.

The Glide knob allows you to adjust the speed of the glide between notes and when set to 0, turns this otherwise monophonic instrument into a full polyphonic sound creator! The Theremin+ includes a number of real Theremin samples, generated tones, and a plethora of carefully crafted sounds, designed from a wide array of sources.

The waveform selector lets you choose from Sine, Absolute Sine, Triangle, Saw-tooth, or Square. The Add. knob sets the number of simultaneous micro-tuned voices from 1-4. The Sub-layer adds a whole new dimension, giving you the power to mix in any one of the dozens of included pads, leads, drones, and ambiences complete with separate volume and pitch controls.

The interface is rounded-out by our modular FX rack panel, with 27 different DSP effect modules that you can assign in any of the 8 available slots, in any order that you wish.

The Theremin+ is packed with features not typically found on a Theremin. The waveform selector lets you choose from Sine, Absolute Sine, Triangle, Saw-tooth, or Square. The Add. knob sets the number of simultaneous micro-tuned voices from 1-4.

The Kontakt Player version of this library is NKS encoded for the free Kontakt Player by Native Instruments. It is fully compatible with the NKS Standard software and hardware ecosystem, and VST, VST3, AU, and Pro Tools AAX plugin formats. Version 8.2 or later is required. This Powered-By-Kontakt Player Edition is supported by version 8.2 or later of the free Kontakt Player (VST, AU, AAX) and the special “Libraries” rack. Windows 7 or higher required for PC. OSX 10.12 or higher required for Mac. Dual Core CPU, 3+ GB System Ram, SATA or SSD hard drive recommended for this library.

Kontakt 8.2 requires Windows 10 (or higher), or MacOS 13 (or higher). The free Kontakt Player and full version of Kontakt are both supported by this library. Native Access is required for product activation and installation, and is available for download here.
A Multi-Core CPU, 8+ GB System Ram, and SSD hard drive are recommended for this library.
