Candy Slide Whistle Pop is a faithfully deep-sampled lollipop slide flute. Crafted from the finest sugar and high-fructose corn syrup, this instrument has a mellow, breathy character and clear recorder-like tone, similar in range to a Garklein recorder.

The flute itself is entirely candy, with the slide plunger adjustable inside the stick. We captured the full chromatic range of the whistle in steps, spanning 1.5 natural octaves (C6 - F#7), with the option to extend playable range across the entire keyboard.The library includes 11 essential tuned chromatic articulations with sustains, shorts and dynamic expressions. It also features 100 melodic phrases, and a dozen banks of flute effects covering a range of essential slide whistle articulations.

We recorded 4 different whistles in cherry and blueberry flavors, because they kept melting and dripping gross sugary goo all over the recording booth. Really, the whole thing was kind of a bad idea and we're probably going to get ants. They tasted pretty good though. Anyway, the library sounds great! This is not a joke library. It's totally real. We're just weirdos, but you already knew that! PS - Just to be clear, if you buy this, you will receive virtual instrument software, not an actual food product. Soundiron instruments are not edible.

The Kontakt interface includes a suite of automation-ready sound-shaping controls to give you total creative flexibility. You have control over swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, pitch (coarse & fine), articulation switching, cross-fading and layering, and so much more.

This library includes a flexible LFO system with tempo sync, assignable modulation targets, and a selection of 12 filters for shaping motion and tone. A customizable arpeggiator and built in key and scale lock make it easy to create musical patterns quickly and stay in key.

The interface is rounded-out by our modular FX rack panel, with 27 different DSP effect modules that you can assign in any of the 8 available slots, in any order that you wish.

You can use our intuitive UI controls to customize the sound to your needs, with layer-specific controls for swell, attack, release, tightness, tuning, vibrato, articulation selection, an optional sub-synth waveform underlay module for tonal reinforcement.

Sonic possibilities

The Space window allows you to position each layer separately on the sound stage, with full control over proximity and environment, to easily move from up-close and bone-dry to distant and dreamy.

Total flexibility and creative control

The built-in modular FX rack window offers 27 different DSP effect modules that you can assign in any of 10 available slots, in any order that you wish. You’ll find classic phase, flanger, delay, distortion, amp and cab simulators, compressors, EQ, rotator and so much more.

Full retail version of Kontakt 6.6 or later is required to use the Kontakt presets in this library. The free Kontakt Player is not supported.

This library includes presets for the free Decent Sampler engine by Decent Samples (version 1.11.18 or later). Decent Sampler is a powerful platform that offers many of the same core features you’ll find in our Kontakt presets, with a broad selection of effects, customization features and host/midi automation support. It’s compatible with VST, VST3, AAX, Audiounit, Auv3 and Standalone for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Linux.

System Requirements

The full unlocked retail version of Kontakt 6.6 or later is required for all Kontakt nki instrument presets in this library. The free Kontakt Player, Libraries rack, Native Access, Komplete Kontrol and the “Add Library” import feature do not support this library. Windows 7 (or later) or macOS 10.12 (or later) is required.
